Home: Welcome

HELLO!

Thanks for stopping by my page! I'm a creative writer and a freelance writer/editor.

My eclectic ensemble of characters explore religion and fantasy elements to find the humor in global warming, black holes, and even high school. I enjoy writing everything short-form: half hours, web series, comedy sketches, poems, and lyrics. I'm excited to attend the Rocaberti Writers’ Retreat in May of 2022, where Kelly Edwards, Senior VP of Talent Development for WarnerMedia Entertainment, will work with me on Gods Need Therapy Too (which won Honorable Mention for Best TV/Webisode Script at GenreBlast Film Festival 2021).

My pal Richard was kind enough to spotlight some willing crew members from his short, Mamma (coming soon). So here I am (in 2019) talking about myself.

I've also written comedy sketches, a One Direction jukebox musical with a fantasy twist, and in college, I decided to rewrite Romeo and Juliet as a Beatles jukebox musical. My personal taste in media is pretty much just TikTok.

The slideshow features recognition we've gotten so far.

POEMS & LYRICS

Check out my Instagram below, where I published "The Fantasy Collection," a series of poems and lyrics written between the ages of 17-26 with accompanying illustrations. To read them in order, click the Instagram Story Highlight entitled "Fantasy."  The YouTube videos below explain it all.

I’ve learned (from Taylor Swift, of course) that once you share your processed emotions in lyrical form, they really are gifts for readers/listeners. And when you read or listen to something that IS EXACTLY how you feel, or is expressed in a way that makes you feel part of something – that’s electric! (That's also a run-on sentence!) But that electricity is truly a source of renewable energy, so I think we just solved the climate crisis!

I want the lyrics to be paired with music, SOMEONE HELP. (I like pop music with violins!) And of course, everything's obviously my ~intellectual property~ so don’t even think about it. Use the form below for inquiries. Thanks!
